Our spring field trip was AMAZING. The kids had a great time learning about plants and a few bugs ??. And at the end of our field trip Farmer Insurance agent Mr. Ortiz who was purchasing plants for his office was so admired by the kids he offer to purchase all of the plants the kids picked for our garden. A BIG THANK YOU ?. For such nice and kind gesture.

?Early morning baking 6:00 am, a quite house, Christmas music playing my beautiful Christmas tree lights twinkling with a hot peppermint cup of coffee and my Christmas fruit cakes with an infusion of coffee and brandy are done. ☃️

ACORNS! Although not seen much around our valley, we got to see and taste them on our own! With our hands and tools we were able to wash, squish, peel, and pull them apart to reveal a bright inside. Doing this allows us to connect multiple senses such as touch, taste, and smell. Connecting with the great outdoors in little ways allows for our minds to make much bigger connections. ? ?

So much learning going on, manipulative and motor skills, coordination and focus with the potatoe peeler. Math skills.. how many potatoes, how many plates and the final result a DELICIOUS feast to celebrate our friendships. ???

At TINKER VILLAGE we truly appreciate the time and effort our parents put into been part of their child’s preschool years but also making a connection with us too. It has allowed us to create a secure attachment and see a side of their child’s heart that may not be visible at first glance but as we see the love poured in from all angles, it’s just amazing to witness. Thank you for the endless support and love you show everyday. Whether it be 6:30 a.m. jokes, or 6:00 p.m. tears. Your kind, loving and appreciation words in every thank you card proves and remind us we truly made an impact in your child’s life. Summer Time is here!!! Our kids here at Tinker Village have the opportunity to join us for our annual Summer Camp. Boy oh boy do they have a blast. It may be hot outside in our AV heat, but that won’t stop us. One of our many stops! What are your summer plans?

To our Newest Little Graduates: You came through that door hesitant to let go of mommy and daddy. We came to the gate with many ideas on what your little personality would be and how to accommodate you. Both of us were in new territory. But you let go of mommy and daddy and held our hands for the first time. It is not a feeling we will ever forget. You trusted us with your tears, laughter, scares, and secrets. You showed us your pure heart in exchange for a priceless education. We pour our hearts into our Tinkers knowing they will spread their wings and fly into the new future ahead of them. We have loved and cared for you unconditionally and hope you never forget what that feels like. Watching you walk across that stage last night reminds us how much your little hands have achieved and will achieve. Remind yourself that a learning experience is what you make it. We love you now and always will ? Now go show those new class rooms what you got!

New Toys!!! Here at tinker village we aspire to keep our little minds motivated. We do this through many different means. One being through play. When one comes into our center they will notice that we try to stay away from traditional plastic toys. This is to keep the imagination wheels turning for an endless outcome of opportunities. This past weekend we came across these super cute and imaginative pieces!

The kids got to participate in every aspect. ?They also decorated the Christmas tree for our little visitors on Saturday who will be stoping by to collect goodies for their hot cocoa. ?And my amazing staff made the goodie bags with ginger mug hangers, a peppermint spoon and a chocolate bomb with sprinkles and marshamallows inside. Thank you @qhchamber for inviting us to be part of this awesome event. ?⛄️⛄️??⛄️⛄️⛄️?⛄️?⛄️?⛄️? Come join us on Saturday 3-5 for goodies and 5-7 to light up Quartz Hill Christmas Tree.

We are happy to announce that the mud kitchen is STILL open and getting better and better everyday! This week we explored with colors added into the water. This made for very colorful creations and booming imagination. The freedom to play with all the materials builds the child’s confidence with items that they see around their own homes.
